Controlling stress is never easy. You can have so much stress that life is unbearable and unproductive. In this book Vanessa Pagan shows you how to get your stress under control and how to manage it so that you never have to stress over your stress again. She helps you to get a stress free and productive life back.I myself was once always stressed about my finances and how I would pay my bills from paycheck to paycheck. Just when I got over my stress from the last paycheck and bill paying episode it was shortly time to start over again. I used several of the steps in this book to get control over my stressors. The one I didn’t use was starting a journal but I believe had I taken the time to write down what was stressing me out and noting what I should do to help me control the problems I could have learned to control my stressors even sooner than I did. While reading this book I thought about how Vanessa described the many details of my own situation and how close I was to stress burnout.
I would recommend this book to anyone who feels the day to day grind is more than they can bear. Vanessa will teach you how to identify the problems and offer simple ways to avoid and get over whatever the problem is. And what you can’t control she will show you how to deal with it and not let it stress you to the point that it disturbs your life.

Vanessa Pagan provides an in-depth description of all of the ways that stress can adversely affect your body... and then she tells you how to reduce the stress in your life. Making simple changes can improve your outlook as well as the quality of your life. I have had stress issues for almost my entire adult life and was able to make some small changes in my habits that yielded almost immediate results. Even if you are only under a small amount of stress, it can still have a detrimental effect on your life. I highly recommend this book to everyone, not only for stressors that you are currently under, but to avoid future stressors.
The book didn't feel finished to me. It felt slightly cobbled together, and shows several editing errors throughout.
The basics are here, but they are not always expanded to give the bigger picture. This is not a 12 step program as most people think about when 12 step is mentioned.
It did not give me any real ideas for how to achieve stress-free productivity. I walked away disappointed and feeling as if I was steered the wrong way with the title. This discusses little ideas for dealing with stress but not how to combine that with productivity as the bigger picture.
This is a very helpful book! Vanessa Pagan points out that at some point everybody on the planet suffers from stress at some point in their life. Of course everyone has different stress as well as different stress triggers. Stress also can cause very serious health problems. Did you know stress can even shrink your brain size? I didnt. This book is full of information about what stress can do to your body. Things I have never heard before. The author not only talks about the effects of stress but also about the benefits of stress. One being, of course, better productivity. She also suggest 12 ways to manage your stress. We can all benefit from that. Anyone can benefit from reading this book.
As a currently unemployed housewife, stress has inevitably and unfortunately made itself a part of my daily life. Reading "Productivity Hacks Revealed A 12 Step Program to Achieve Stress Free Productivity" was very insightful in helping me learn and understand not only what causes my stress, but also the many effects it has on me, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Vanessa Pagan really does an awesome job of laying our her 12 steps to reduce stress, and includes some ways that I've previously heard, but also some that I've yet to try. I look forward to implementing her helpful tips to lowering my stress levels and cannot wait to be able to be more productive in my life because of it! Great read, highly recommend!
We all experience stress in our lives. How we deal with that stress is what makes a difference. This book by Vanessa Pagan explains how stress can affect us physically and mentally if we don’t know how to handle it. I had no idea how harmful stress can be until I read this book. Vanessa really opened my eyes to the dangers of stress. She pointed out things I have never thought of. This book give us excellent methods to deal with stress so we can avoid the damage it can do to our overall health. The twelve step program to achieve stress free productivity is wonderful and is something we can all do every day. I, for one, am going to practice these twelve steps to deal with all of the stress I experience on a daily basis. Thank you, Vanessa, for making me aware of stress danger and how to deal with it positively. We all experience stress and I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I give this a 5* Review. A bit of a different take or look on the things that cause stress. Enhanced stress that cause reactions physically like the feelings of depression, anxiety. The author states the very serious physical and emotional effects from stress and the triggers that cause it for your life. There are examples to clarify or identify what the author is expressing. Did you know stress can cause your brain to shrink!! It speaks to the damaging effects of stress from childhood and how it can be passed on. There is clinical information. Journal quotes, results of clinical research studies. Explains disorders associated with stress. How it can hinder your social life. It gives symptoms of things many experience. Delves into coping mechanisms, journaling, healthy eating, proper rest. Well this is chock filled with identifying where you may be with stress, and it is a good tool to start a journey to wholeness. Great read, written very well, easily understood.
